From 10 to 14 November 2017, Il Borro was a key player at the 26th Merano Wine Festival, the first Wine Festival in Europa to focus on fine wines and culinary products.

Il Borro offered two of the company’s finest wines for tasting, which won The Wine Hunter Award gold medal: Il Borro Toscana IGT 2013 and Petruna Anfora Val d’Arno di Sopra DOC 2015, the first 100% organic wine vinified in clay amphorae.

An Il Borro Masterclass was held on Sunday 12 December at the Hotel Terme in Merano, with an exclusive vertical tasting of 8 vintages (from 2006 to 2013) of Il Borro Toscana IGT.

Guiding the tasting was Gianni Fabrizio, editor of the Gambero Rosso “Guide to Italian Wines”, and Stefano Chioccioli, the company’s consultant oenologist.
